Microneedle mesotherapy consists in controlled skin damage through punctures with a specially manufactured device, terminated with sterile needle cartridges, which densely puncture the skin to a depth of 0.25 mm up to 3.0 mm.

The treatment consists of controlled puncturing of the skin to a different depth, depending on the effect we want to achieve. Punctures stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, stimulate skin renewal and thicken it, making it an ideal treatment for post-traumatic scars or skin laxity. This is also the main effect of the treatment.

The procedure is accompanied by slight bleeding, thanks to which the blood that comes out of small wounds caused by the puncture, activates platelets and regenerates the skin. This treatment also improves the absorption of active ingredients applied during the treatment, through the micro-channels in the skin, the vitamin preparation is absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin, bypassing the protective barrier of the epidermis.

For microneedle mesotherapy, we use specially designed preparations that are selected depending on the desired effect. For example, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, a vitamin complex, or organic silicon is used.

Micro-needle mesotherapy is a treatment that works on a wide spectrum of skin problems. A series of several treatments effectively and very strongly stimulates the skin to regenerate, at the same time eliminating mimic lines, wrinkles, and falling face oval. Thanks to the regeneration and reconstruction of the skin, this treatment successfully reduces scars and stretch marks. In combination with various types of treatment ampoules, it can work on many other problems such as cellulite or skin pigmentation disorders.

The main goals of the procedure:

• thanks to micro-punctures, the skin is stimulated to auto-renew
• stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin
• increased skin nourishment by increasing blood circulation after the treatment, which leads to tissue nourishment
• tissue remodeling
• thickening of the skin, increasing its resistance

Treatment stages

Like any treatment, it begins with a cosmetology consultation. The cosmetologist explains the course of the procedure, sets the treatment goals, and talks about the real effects that the patient can expect after the series or after a single treatment.

If the patient has no contraindications to the procedure, after consultation, an anesthetic cream is applied, which eliminates any unpleasant sensations during the procedure. This is an optional step, if the patient does not want anesthesia, it does not have to be applied to the skin.

After about 20 minutes, we proceed to micro-puncture the skin with an automatic pen, which by creating microchannels in the skin regenerates and nourishes the skin by introducing a specially selected preparation deeper.

The depth of the punctures depends on the treatment site and the effect we want to achieve, with a different depth we will puncture the area of ​​the eye, chin, abdomen, or arms. The intensity of the action on the skin depends on the depth of the punctures. Immediately after the micro-punctures are made, the skin is most often red and hot, a soothing gel is applied. Post-treatment erythema may persist for up to 2 days after the procedure.

In some people, after a period of reddening of the skin, slight peeling of the skin may appear, this is completely normal – the skin is renewing itself. Occasionally, people with very shallow vascularized complexes may develop very small ecchymoses.

Post-treatment recommendations

• After the treatment, the skin should be strongly moisturized and lubricated with regenerating creams or with ceramides, e.g. Dottore S.O.S, Avene Cicalfate regenerating cream, Stratia Liquid Gold or Alantan dermoline light cream.
• Up to 24 hours after the treatment, you should avoid heavily polluted places and physical exertion, as well as the swimming pool.
• The sauna should be avoided for 7 days after the procedure
• Peelings should not be performed for 7 days after the treatment
• Avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 7 days after the treatment
• You should use a cream with high sunscreen for about a month after the treatment

Contraindications

• Viral, bacterial, and fungal infections
• Numerous signs in the treatment area
• Neoplasms, post-tumor state up to 5 years after the end of treatment
• Poor ability to regenerate the skin
• Haemophilia
• Multiply scattered inflammations on the skin
• Sensory disturbance
• Heavily tanned skin
• Very vascular skin
• Applying ointment medications to the treatment area
• Common acne, pyoderma, cystic acne
