Laser Hair Removal

During laser carbon peeling, carbon particles penetrate the smallest unevenness, depressions, and pores and absorb the energy of the laser light. The treatment cleans and narrows the skin pores, unifies the color, stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, stimulates skin cells to rebuild, and stabilizes sebum secretion.

Preparation for the procedure

Before the procedure, you should read the possible contraindications for laser hair removal. You should carefully check the medications and supplements you are taking, and whether they belong to the group of drugs that should be discontinued appropriately before the procedure. During the consultation, the cosmetologist will make sure that there are no contraindications for the procedure and assess the color and thickness of the hair. The hair at the consultation should protrude above the skin surface by about 0.5 mm.

If the target treatment is to be performed on the same day, shave the treatment area thoroughly, leaving two stains of hairs (the size of a two-zloty coin) in the place where they are strongest and weakest.

It should be remembered that immediately before each depilation treatment, the skin should be washed, thoroughly shaved, and free of any cosmetics such as lotion or olive. The skin should also be in good condition. It cannot overdry. If there are symptoms of dryness, moisturizing and moisturizing lotions should be used in advance.

Treatment stages

The treatment is preceded by a pre-treatment questionnaire, which will rule out any contraindications. Then the client is asked to prepare for the treatment (wearing any disposable underwear). Then we perform the laser hair removal treatment. The skin after the treatment may be red and a bit tender. These symptoms usually disappear about 24 hours after the procedure. Sometimes they last up to two days.

Post-treatment recommendations

Due to skin irritation after the treatment, which usually occurs after laser hair removal. The skin should be treated gently for about 3 days after the treatment.

Gentle non-alcoholic gels or clean water are recommended for washing.

It is not recommended to wipe the skin by rubbing it, but only to gently touch it with a dry towel.
If laser hair removal has included the armpits, it is not recommended to use antiperspirants for about 2-3 days.

The treatment area should be protected against solar radiation for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Exfoliating lotions can be used only one week after the treatment.

Indications

When it comes to the indications for epilation, the aesthetic aspect is of course the main indication. If you do not want to bother with constantly growing hair, the laser hair removal method will be perfect for you.

Another indication is inflammation of the hair follicle, which is manifested by numerous pustules, i.e. inflammation in the area of the hair follicle. Thanks to laser hair removal, we can completely get rid of folliculitis.
